Another chapter unfolds, exposing the truth and disguising the past. Tones of sonic
distortion filled with popular harmonies are the ink which our story is told. Our
numbers upon the pages will grow, leaving the imprint of story after story after
story after story after story of light and dark.
The Story of Light and Dark’s two key members, Samuel Trim & Tami Wood come from
interesting backgrounds, to make an eclectic mix of music. Tami, hails from a
folk-neo soul back ground, bringing the more light and gentle tones into the mix.
Whereas Samuel’s background is a mix of Industrial, Electronic, and Sub-Indie pop.
Together it is the formulae to creating music to make you laugh, cry, scream, dance,
space-out, sleep, and shout.

B-squared
in the middle of the night
this STHIL (search the heavens if lost) track is much more straight forward than most. i wanted to get by with less tracks and less changes. it is inspired by the spirit of City of Hungry Ghosts. the rock bass and drums are meant to drive it. no apologies, it really is meant for a dance rock party more than the headphones or a lounge. it went over quite well in new orleans, at least until i broke the mixer with my thrashing about.

disco hospital rmx
so i did a remix of a Happy Panjoma track. ok ok the luomo references are thick but i did this roughly in one day on the miko. ableton, camelphat and guru all helped seal the deal. tried to keep the track super simple and work like the old-timers did.
